I remember my mother having acupuncture in the 70's for her rheumatoid arthritis. After a few visits she never went back because it (the acupuncture) hurt so much. For something to be more painful than her arthritis it must have been really, really uncomfortable.
I did not have a similar experience when I went to Erin Pass for acupuncture. Her loving kindness would not allow for that. Occasionally a sensation of "more than a bug bite" would arise during treatment, but any discomfort that I had was always dealt with immediately. Erin does everything possible to make sure that you are comfortable and well cared for during treatment.
I initially went to Erin for help in dealing with my menstrual cycle which was extremely painful and heavy. My GYN's only recommendations were surgery, "the pill" and anti-depressants. None of which I found very attractive. Using a combination of Chinese herbs and acupuncture I found relief from my pain and discomfort with Erin. I also went through a divorce during the course of my treatment with Erin. She played a huge part in getting me through that by being a loving friend and confidant. I love you Erin!
